Yusuhara is a large but sparsely-populated town in Kochi prefecture. As of 2010, the town has an estimated population of 3,891 and a density of 16.5 persons per km². The total area is 236.51 km².
Transportation[]
The closest train station is Susaki station, nearly an hour away by car. Some bus services from Yusuhara do exist but a car is practically necessary for living in Yusuhara.
Working[]
As of 2018, there are two JETs in Yusuhara, an ALT at the Board of Education employed by the Yusuhara town government and an ALT at the highschool. The former works at Yusuhara Gakuen (Junior High and Elementary school combined).
