Yusuhara is a large but sparsely-populated town in Kochi prefecture. As of 2010, the town has an estimated population of 3,891 and a density of 16.5 persons per km². The total area is 236.51 km².
Transportation
The closest train station is Susaki station, nearly an hour away by car. Some bus services from Yusuhara do exist but a car is practically necessary for living in Yusuhara.
Working
As of 2011, there are two JETs in Yusuhara, a CIR at the Yusuhara Board of Education and an ALT at the highschool. There is also a non-JET ALT at the Board of Education employed by the Yusuhara town government.
